Obtained the Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (2009) and the Master degree in Music (2015), both from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG), in Brazil. Currently doing a PhD in Music at the same university, investigating the individuality in music performances on the eletric guitar. Has experience in software development, system analysis, digital signal processing, music information retrieval and machine learning. Also has experience as guitarist in music groups, playing mostly rock, blues, jazz and brazilian music.
