Aimed at investigating the synchronization/coordination process in small musical ensembles, these projects attempt to model musician’s interactions, using visual and acoustical responses collected during real musical performances simulations. Patterns of temporal synchronization and other types of coupling (intensity, note articulation) are observed and analyzed, in order to map acoustic and gesture-related elements that could influence the adjustment between musicians.
