Graduated in Electrical Engineering with specialization in Computer Science and Audio Engineering at the Federal University of Minas Gerais – UFMG (Brazil). Master’s degree on Sound and Music Computing from the Pompeu Fabra University (Spain), with the project “A customizable, multi-parametric auditory display technique for theta-alpha neurofeedback training”, supervised by professors Sergi Jorda and Xavier Serra at the Music Technology Group in Barcelona, where also acted in a handful of projects related to the arts and technology. From these, emerged 44Perills Art Sonor, a cultural center focused in sound art and experimental music. Currently a PhD candidate at the Music School of UFMG – Brazil, supervised by professor Mauricio Loureiro, at the Center for Research on the Musical Gesture & Expression – CEGeME. As a musician, studied classical piano, percussion and composition in both formal and informal contexts for the last two decades, and performs regularly in Brazil and abroad.
