Alexandre Silva

Alexandre holds a Bachelor’s degree in clarinet from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG), Graduated in music from the Universidade do Estado de Minas Gerais (UEMG), received, with praise, a Master of Arts in Music Performance from the Scuola Universitaria Professionale della Svizzera Italiana/Conservatory della Svizzera Italiana and currently is a PhD candidate at the Music School of UFMG – Brazil, supervised by professor Mauricio Loureiro. He worked as guest clarinet teacher in the Scuola di Musica of the Conservatoire della Svizzera Italiana and in the Music Department of the Universidade Federal de São João del-Rei. Teaches clarinet in the Fundação de Educação Artistica de Belo Horizonte, holds a clarinet professor position at UEMG and is a clarinetist of the Minas Gerais Philharmonic Orchestra.
